He obtained his MBBS from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bengaluru and completed his MS in General Surgery from Shri. B.M. Patil Medical College . He subsequently obtained his M.Ch. in Urology from Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, Manipal and DrNB - New Delhi(Urology).

Manjunath’s other medical qualification and accreditation includes EACCME-accredited training in multi-organ donor procurement surgery from the Dutch Transplant Foundation, Fellowship in Master of Male Infertility , which was certified by Masters Health Pro Inc., USA & recognized by AMH Singapore, ISAMH Netherlands, and SASSM, Fellowship in Penile Implant Surgery, New Delhi. He also has vast experience in Deceased Donor and Live donor Renal Transplantation.
Dr. V. Manjunath possesses extensive experience in endourological procedures, including stone-kidney, ureter, prostate, and urinary bladder procedures (TURP, TURBT). He also specializes in Laser procedures, such as RIRS, Thuflep, URS laser and VIU. Additionally, he has expertise in reconstructive urethral surgeries, including VIU, BMG Urethroplasty, and Meatoplasty. Furthermore, he has experience in Uro-oncology, treating renal tumors, bladder tumors, and prostate malignancies. He also specializes in Female urology, performing SUI-TVTO and cystocele repair. Notably, he has also specialized in penile prosthesis surgery for Organic ED-Indian Shah prosthesis, Tactra and Rigicon-malleable prosthesis.
