Emergency Admissions
- Available 24 hours a day, subject to:
- An assessment of the medical emergency by the Emergency Department Medical Officer.
- Availability of the appropriate bed category.
Admission Requirements
The patient must produce an Admission Instruction Sheet issued by the Consultant or the Emergency Room Medical Officer.
Room/Bed Charges
A schedule of room/bed charges for different bed categories is available at the Reception and Admission Counter.
Please take some time to review this schedule.
The Admission Staff(s) can answer any queries regarding room/bed charges.
Advance Payments
- Advance payment is required as per Hospital Policy.
- Non-emergency admissions or surgical procedures will not proceed without the required advance payment.
- During admission, the Floor Manager or Patient Relations Coordinators will periodically request advance payments based on accumulated charges.
- These advance deposits must be paid promptly to ensure uninterrupted care.
Bed Category Changes
- Changing from a lower bed category to a higher one is permissible subject to bed availability.
- Higher bed category charges will apply from the day of admission if any surgical procedure or ICU admission has occurred.
- For non-surgical ailments, higher bed category charges apply from the date of shift.
- Changing from a higher bed category to a lower one is not routinely permitted.
- Under special circumstances, this may be considered by Management, subject to availability and Consultant consent.
- Lower rates will be charged from the date of actual transfer.
- Bills for services in the higher bed category must be cleared before transfer to a lower bed category.
Cashless Services
- At the time of admission, show your Mediclaim / Insurance Card, Pre-Authorization Approval, Corporate ID Card, or Corporate E-Card at the Admission Counter.
- Insured patients must present an Insurance or Corporate ID Card to confirm if the Hospital has a tie-up with the relevant TPA or Corporate.
- Without the necessary card or if there is no tie-up, the patient is not entitled to cashless treatment and must pay the relevant advance deposit.
- For processing insurance documents, visit the Insurance Help Desk on the ground floor.
