Dr Rolly Malhotra has joined as Senior consultant at the Critical Care unit of Prakriya Hospitals, Bangalore. Dr Rolly completed her M.B.B.S from GSVM Medical College Kanpur. A post graduate in Anesthesia from S.N Medical college Agra, she is an aluminus of P D Hinduja Hospital Mumbai where she accomplished her FNB Critical Care. She is also recipient of EDICM (European Diploma in Critical Care Medicine) Brussels.
A certified American Heart association ACLS and BLS instructor, she has a keen interest in raising awareness in the society about medical emergencies and has been training doctors and paramedics across the country for more than 14 years.
She has previously worked with various renowned hospitals across India that includes Fortis Hospital, Vasantkunj Delhi, Columbia Asia Hospital Bangalore and brings with her a rich experience in handling critically ill patients. She also carries with her experience in artificial intelligence (AI) and has managed critically ill patients through AI platform at remote locations in India. She is well versed in all kinds of ICU procedures and is involved in decision making and planning for ICU patients.
Her special areas of interest are infection control practices and policy making, antibiotic stewardship programme, and palliative care medicine.
Dr Rolly has keen interest in academics and has co-authored many articles. She is actively involved in training and academic activities for junior doctors and nurses, and conducts regular CMEs and training sessions.
