Dr. Karthavya is a consultant in Anesthesiology and Critical Care department with over 6 years of expertise. He is experienced in managing critically ill patients in ICU with knowledge and expertise in mechanical ventilation, resuscitation, advanced life support, and complex decision-making, managing emergency procedures and treating life-threatening conditions.
He is an alumni of KLE education society and has worked previously in Manipal hospitals and he is a certified BLS and ACLS provider. He has completed his certificate courses in Palliative care and provides palliative and EOLC services.
His special areas of interest are ARDS management, EOLC, Palliative care in resource limited settings, antibiotic stewardship policies.
He is keenly involved in research activities and has co-authored multiple papers in the field and published case reports on management of patients in ICU. He is also involved in multiple prestigious global trials like FLUID ICU and FENICE II trails.
